DETROIT, MI — GameAbove Sports, the ownership group behind the new BIG3 franchise Detroit Amplifiers (“Amps”) and title sponsor of the GameAbove Sports Bowl in December, is proud to announce a partnership with the Detroit Tigers.

GameAbove will show its support for one of the best teams in Major League Baseball by sponsoring a left field wall sign. The Detroit Amps’ trend-setting logo will be visible around the ballpark and during the Tigers’ television broadcasts as well. This collaboration aims to enhance brand visibility and engage fans through various promotional activities, events, and campaigns. It also gives GameAbove a strong presence in all three major sports venues in the city and shows its continued support for Detroit and its communities.

“I grew up a Tigers fan and remain one today,” said GameAbove chairman and co-owner of the Detroit Amps, Keith J. Stone. The Tigers' success has created a contagious feel for the city’s sports franchise, including our own Detroit Amps. A sponsorship at Comerica Park allows GameAbove to feed off the energy of their passionate crowds and fan base. We’re proud to be involved in this special season and align with such a historic franchise like the Detroit Tigers.”

On June 8th, the Tigers presented the Amps’ head coach George Gervin with his own official Tigers jersey and introduced the team to a sellout crowd. In July, the Amps played at Little Caesars Arena to the largest crowd the BIG3 has had in 2025. The team and BIG3 partnered to also successfully host a community-based Young3 event to support the non-profit groups and kids in the city. In December of 2024, the GameAbove Sports Bowl, played at Ford Field, hosted over 26,000 fans and, in front of a national television audience, featured an FBS bowl record six overtime game between the University of Toledo and the University of Pittsburgh.

In 2025, the GameAbove Sports Bowl will again take place at Ford Field on what has become a Motor City tradition, scheduled for December 26th at 1 P.M. Eastern Time.
