Beau Breault, a Hartland, Michigan native and Eastern Michigan University alum, chose to travel to Argentina and Brazil in pursuit of Monday qualifiers, a route not commonly taken by professionals seeking to enter PGA TOUR Americas due to the long flights, significant costs, and inherent risks. His journey, which took an average of 24 hours door-to-door, began with a Monday qualification for the Abierto Telecom del Centro presented by Zurich in Cordoba, Argentina, but rounds of 70-74 unfortunately left him on the outside of the cut line. Just a week later in Rio de Janeiro, however, he found his rhythm, tying for second in the Monday Qualifier and then delivering four sub-70 rounds despite challenging weather conditions over the weekend, ultimately finishing tied for fourth.
