Now on Roku, ECHL Unfiltered 2 highlights the South Carolina Stingrays, one of the league’s most storied franchises, with exclusive access to the locker room, training, and the highs and lows of a professional hockey season.

SHREWSBURY, N.J. — GameAbove Entertainment and the ECHL are proud to announce that the latest installment of ECHL Unfiltered, the acclaimed behind-the-scenes hockey docuseries, is now streaming on Roku. This year, the series highlights the South Carolina Stingrays, one of the league’s most storied franchises, with exclusive access to the locker room, training, and the highs and lows of a professional hockey season.
Directed and produced by accomplished filmmaker Tyler Nimmons, ECHL Unfiltered delivers raw, cinematic storytelling that captures the perseverance and grit of athletes chasing their NHL dreams. Following the inaugural edition that featured the Idaho Steelheads, this year’s focus on the Stingrays immerses viewers in Charleston’s passionate hockey community and the team’s tradition of excellence, including three Kelly Cup championships.
“Making ECHL Unfiltered available on Roku allows fans everywhere to experience the drama, the grind, and the heart of our league,” said ECHL Commissioner Ryan Crelin. “This series reflects the very best of what makes minor league hockey so compelling.”
For GameAbove Entertainment, the docuseries reinforces its growing reputation in sports media production. By combining cinematic filmmaking with unparalleled access to athletes, coaches, and communities, the company is demonstrating the type of premium, scalable content that streamers, leagues, and teams are seeking.
“Our mission with ECHL Unfiltered is to tell authentic sports stories that resonate far beyond the rink,” said GameAbove Vice President of Marketing & Entertainment Khalid Walton. “This work showcases exactly what we can deliver to partners across hockey as well as other sports leagues and teams looking to elevate their storytelling.”
ECHL Unfiltered: South Carolina Stingrays is available now to stream on Roku, free to viewers nationwide through Roku’s ad-supported platform. For more information, visit ECHLUnfiltered.com.
