2025 GameAbove Sports™ Bowl Scheduled for December 26, 1 PM ET at Ford Field

ESPN will televise the 11th year of this bowl game

DETROIT – The GameAbove Sports Bowl announced today that their 2025 matchup at Ford Field will be played on Friday, December 26 at 1 PM ET and will be televised on ESPN. For more information about the annual college football bowl game in Detroit, visit www.gameabovesportsbowl.com.

The GameAbove SportsTM Bowl traditionally features teams from the Big Ten and the Mid-American Conference (MAC). 2025 marks the 11th year of this bowl game – which is owned, hosted and operated by the Detroit Lions – and the second year with title sponsor GameAbove Sports.

GameAbove Sports focuses on global sports business development and strategic investments. They seek to grow the global presence of the athletes, teams, leagues, youth academies and sports-related entities they partner with. In partnering with the Detroit Lions and Ford Field in their bowl game tradition, GameAbove Sports hopes to continue furthering the impact of the event, bringing together college football fans from across the country to participate in the tradition of excellence that has made this bowl game a highlight of the postseason.
